(February 13, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC (4-6-6, 18 PTS) closes out its three-match homestand this weekend, hosting Brooklyn FC (4-6-6, 18 PTS) as the club begins a new chapter at home. The sides met twice during the first half of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season, with Fort Lauderdale earning a 2-1 road victory (Sept. 28) before the clubs played to a 1-1 draw in South Florida (Nov. 1). With kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. at Beyond Bancard Field, Fort Lauderdale will look to secure all three points at home to mark the start of a new era.

Fort Lauderdale United FC enters Saturday’s clash riding a three-match skid but will look to turn the page as interim Head Coach Paul Jennison begins his tenure. The club closes its three-match homestand to open the spring season against a Brooklyn side it defeated earlier this year, earning a 2-1 victory in the Empire State on September 28. Fort Lauderdale’s attack is powered by the dynamic trio of Kiara Locklear (5G), Jasmine Hamid (3G, 1A) and Kelli Van Treeck (4G, 2A), while the back line is anchored by Team of the Month selections Ella Simpson and Madison McComasky. In goal, new acquisition McKinley Crone has recorded eight saves across her first two matches in South Florida. With a new chapter underway, Fort Lauderdale will aim to secure all three points and build momentum heading into the next stretch of the campaign.

Brooklyn comes into Saturday night on a decent run of form, earning a pair of wins across its last four matches (2W-1D-1L). While many clubs experienced roster movement during the holiday break, Brooklyn remained unchanged with no departures or additions. The squad is led by Team of the Month forward Rebecca Cooke (5G) and All-League midfielder Sam Kroeger (2A), and features five players with at least two goals this season. As Fort Lauderdale looks to usher in a new chapter, Brooklyn will be tasked with slowing down one of the league’s most dynamic attacks.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (February 11, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC announced today that it has named Paul Jennison the Interim Head Coach of its Gainbridge Super League side, effective immediately. Jennison, who opened the season as the club’s Goalkeeper Coach & Head Assistant, will assume head coaching duties for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.

“Paul has earned this opportunity through his work ethic, leadership, and commitment to our players,” said Tyrone Mears, President of Soccer. “He has been an important part of our technical staff this season and understands the standards and culture we are building at Fort Lauderdale United. We believe in continuity, we believe in our pathway, and we have full confidence in Paul as we enter a critical stretch of the season.”

Jennison joined Fort Lauderdale United FC in July and has played an integral role within the technical staff throughout the 2025/26 campaign. Following the midseason departure of Ali Rogers, he steps into the interim head coaching role with the club sitting just two points outside of a Gainbridge Super League playoff spot with 12 matches remaining in the 2025/26 season.

A native of Middlesborough, England, Jennison brings more than 17 years of coaching experience across the collegiate, academy, and international levels. Prior to joining Fort Lauderdale United, he served as Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper coach for the University of South Carolina men’s soccer program after four seasons as Head of Goalkeeping at IMG Academy, where he oversaw all aspects of the goalkeeping department.

Before his time at IMG, Jennison spent three seasons as an Assistant Coach with Northwestern University’s women’s soccer program. He began his coaching career in 2008 at St. Charles East High School, leading both the girls and boys soccer programs over a nine-year tenure.

Jennison’s experience also includes serving as Goalkeeper Coach for the British Virgin Islands Men’s National Team in 2023, coaching at the USL League Two level, and working within the Olympic Development Program (ODP). Since 2018, he has served as a Coach Educator for the U.S. Soccer Federation.

“I’m excited for this tremendous opportunity,” said Jennison. “This is a special place, and we certainly have a very bright future. The important thing is to build on our already well- established foundation and bring in the collective together so we can move the team forward. We’re very excited about the players we have on the roster and how we can continuously bring the best out of them. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (February 10, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC announced today that the club has parted ways with Head Coach Alissa “Ali” Rogers, effective immediately.

“On behalf of Fort Lauderdale United FC, I want to thank Ali Rogers for her service to our club,” said Tyrone Mears, President of Soccer. “Ali was part of our journey from day one, contributing as Associate Head Coach during our inaugural season before stepping into the head coaching role. We appreciate her efforts and wish her the very best in the next chapter of her career.”

Rogers joined Fort Lauderdale United FC as Associate Head Coach for the club’s inaugural 2024/25 season and was named Head Coach in September 2025, succeeding Mears ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. During Rogers’ tenure, Fort Lauderdale established a strong foundation in its inaugural seasons, competing in the Gainbridge Super League while building a professional environment for players and staff. The club continued to grow both on and off the field as it laid the groundwork for long-term success.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (February 7, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC (4-6-6, 18 PTS) dropped its matchup with Dallas Trinity FC (7-5-3, 24 PTS), 4-0, on Saturday evening at Beyond Bancard Field. With the result, Fort Lauderdale fell for the third consecutive match but will have an opportunity to return to the win column when it hosts Brooklyn FC next weekend in the final match of the homestand.

Fort Lauderdale United returns to the pitch on Saturday, February 14 for the third and final match of a three-game homestand, taking on Brooklyn FC in a monumental clash at Beyond Bancard Field. The clubs met twice in the first half of the campaign, with Fort Lauderdale earning a 2-1 victory in the first meeting on the road (Sept. 28) while the clubs played to a 1-1 draw in South Florida (Nov. 1). With the clubs set to play for the final time in the 2025-26 regular season, next Saturday’s duel will be one to watch in Fort Lauderdale. 

Fort Lauderdale was on the attack early, with Jasmine Hamid sending in a cross in the fourth minute that just missed Stella Nyamekye. The defensive trio of Julia Grosso, Sh’nia Gordon and Ella Simpson set the tone in the opening stages, each making key plays in the 7th, 10th and 11th minutes, respectively. Fort Lauderdale was effective with the through ball in the first half, as Kelli Van Treeck found Kat González in the 13th minute before González slipped Kiara Locklear through a minute later, though her shot was saved by the Dallas goalkeeper. Dallas opened the scoring in the 25th minute. Nyamekye was fouled just outside the box in the 29th minute, creating a dangerous free kick opportunity, but her effort was punched away. Laveni Vaka later turned past a defender to set up Hamid, who played González through in the 40th minute, but her shot was again saved. Fort Lauderdale continued to push but went into the break trailing 1-0.

Fort Lauderdale came into the second half with energy, but Dallas doubled its lead in the 54th minute. Head Coach Ali Rogers made her first changes shortly after, bringing on Sophie Harding and Taylor Smith for Van Treeck and Nyamekye in the 57th minute. Goalkeeper McKinley Crone made a pair of strong saves in the 59th and 70th minutes to keep the deficit at two before Dallas found another goal in the 71st minute. Fort Lauderdale continued to search for a response, bringing on Academy product Daniela Todd for Hugh in the 65th minute. Hamid remained dangerous in the attack, making a central run in the 77th minute and setting up Harding, whose shot missed the mark. Fort Lauderdale made its final change in the 79th minute, introducing Academy product Dakota Harrell for González. Dallas added two late goals, including one in the 86th minute, and despite continued pressure, capped by a Hamid effort in stoppage time, Fort Lauderdale fell 4–0 at home to Dallas Trinity FC.

The sides met just once in the first half of the 2025-26 Gainbridge Super League season, with Fort Lauderdale earning a dominant 4-1 victory in South Florida (Sept. 13). With kick-off set for 8:00 p.m. at Beyond Bancard Field, Fort Lauderdale will look to earn all three points at home against a Dallas side that is undefeated in its last five matches.

Fort Lauderdale United FC enters Saturday’s match in the midst of a challenging stretch, but the club will have an opportunity to get back on track against a Dallas side it already defeated this season. Fort Lauderdale earned all three points in commanding fashion in the lone meeting between the teams this season, posting an impressive 4-1 victory at Beyond Bancard Field in September. The attack is powered by Kiara Locklear (5G), Jasmine Hamid (3G, 1A) and Kelli Van Treeck (4G, 2A), who have combined for 12 of the club’s 19 goals this season while each earning Team of the Month nods in the first half of the campaign. Despite the losses, Dallas remains anchored by a quartet of All-League selections from last season, including First Team forward Allie Thornton (3G) and defender Amber Brooks (63 CL), along with Second Team honorees Chioma Ubogagu (1G, 3A) and Hannah Davison (21 INT). FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (February 6, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC announced today that the club and forward Nia Christopher have mutually agreed to part ways. Christopher, one of just five remaining players to appear on both opening day rosters in club history, provided attacking depth across a pair of seasons in Fort Lauderdale.

A dominant collegiate player at Towson University, Christopher signed with Fort Lauderdale and spent her rookie season with the club. Christopher appeared in 13 matches during Fort Lauderdale’s inaugural campaign, earning her lone start in the club’s second-ever match on September 6, 2024, against Carolina Ascent FC. The 24-year-old forward notched her only assist of the season on September 22 in a 3-1 victory over Lexington SC. The Towson product wrapped up her rookie year with 4 shots on target, 3 key passes and a 75.4% passing accuracy.

Christopher returned to Fort Lauderdale for a second season in South Florida and appeared in two matches of the 2025-26 Gainbridge Super League campaign, logging 35 minutes and 5 duels won. The forward concludes her Fort Lauderdale career with 15 appearances, one start, and 263 minutes played, while recording 5 shots on target, 20 duels won and one assist, becoming one of just 16 players to record an assist across the club’s 45-match history.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (February 3, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC announced today that forward Princess Ademiluyi has been recalled from her loan by Gotham FC and will depart the club. Ademiluyi, who appeared in 10 matches during the fall portion of the season, exits the club after helping Fort Lauderdale earn 18 points in the first half of the campaign.

Ademiluyi joined Fort Lauderdale on loan after signing with Gotham FC shortly after the start of the 2025-26 Gainbridge Super League season and made her debut in the club’s fifth match, a 2-1 road victory over Brooklyn FC on September 28. The English forward started 4 of her 10 appearances and logged 449 minutes on the pitch, where she won 20 duels, registered 2 shots on target, recorded a pair of key passes and totaled 90 passes.

(January 31, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC (4-5-6, 18 PTS) dropped its matchup with Lexington SC (5-0-9, 27 PTS) on Saturday evening at Beyond Bancard Field in the first match of the spring portion of the 2025-26 Gainbridge Super League season. Forward Jasmine Hamid scored her third goal of the season in Saturday’s match, tying the club’s all-time scoring record (12) with a right-footed strike. With the result, Fort Lauderdale has fallen for the second time at home this season but will have an opportunity to respond next week when it hosts Dallas Trinity FC.

Fort Lauderdale fell behind early after conceding in the 8th minute, but goalkeeper McKinley Crone was sharp in the opening stages, making four saves in the first 18 minutes of her club debut. Forward Kiara Locklear applied early pressure, forcing a save in the 12th minute and combined with Hamid down the left side throughout the first half. The pair linked up on a give-and-go in the 21st minute, with Locklear’s effort just missing the target. Lexington doubled its advantage in the 26th minute to extend the lead to two. Fort Lauderdale continued to press before the break, with Kat González and Taylor Smith delivering dangerous free kicks into the box, but Fort Lauderdale was unable to convert and went into halftime trailing 2-0.

Hamid opened the second half with a strong run down the left before Locklear worked into the box, leading to a low Hamid shot that was saved in the 50th minute. Crone continued her impressive performance with back-to-back saves in the 53rd and 54th minutes, but Lexington added a third goal in the 58th minute. Hamid continued to dominate down the middle, driving forward through the middle in the 61st and 65th minutes. Fort Lauderdale made its first substitutions in the 63rd minute, bringing on Daniela Todd for her professional debut and Nia Christopher in place of Smith and Madison McComasky. 

Head Coach Ali Rogers made a triple substitution in the 79th minute, as Sophie Harding, Lilly McCarthy and professional debutant Dakota Harrell entered for Locklear, Kelli Van Treeck and Laveni Vaka. Hamid pulled one back in the 80th minute with a powerful solo run through the middle, sending a rocket into the bottom-right corner to make it 3-1. Fort Lauderdale continued to push late, with Hamid forcing a save in the 89th minute and a header from Harding saved moments later, but the comeback bid fell short as Fort Lauderdale United FC dropped a 3-1 match to Lexington SC on Saturday evening.
