OUR MISSION, OUR VISION
Unite the people, passion, and culture of South Florida through the beautiful game. Build a purpose-driven soccer club that celebrates our community, honors our rich soccer history, and creates opportunities for the next generation to dream, compete, and belong.
Our vision is to establish Fort Lauderdale United FC as the heartbeat of soccer in South Florida—a club built for our community, fueled by our supporters, and committed to developing champions on and off the pitch.
OUR STORY
We are more than a soccer club. We are a community united by a shared passion, a proud history, and an unwavering belief in what comes next.
Fort Lauderdale has long been a place where ambition meets opportunity. From the pioneering spirit of those who first settled along the New River to the generations who transformed our shores into one of the world’s most vibrant destinations, our community has always been defined by those willing to chart their own course.
That same pioneering spirit lives within Fort Lauderdale United FC.
Our journey began with a bold vision: to create a professional soccer club that reflects the diversity, energy, and ambition of South Florida. A club that gives young athletes a pathway to greatness, provides our community with something to rally behind, and establishes a lasting home for the beautiful game.
We proudly helped usher in a new era of professional women’s soccer in South Florida through our women’s team competing in the Gainbridge Super League. With the arrival of our men’s professional team in USL League One in 2027, we are building something even greater—a connected soccer community where the dreams of tomorrow’s players can become the reality of today’s professionals.
From the beaches of Fort Lauderdale to the neighborhoods of Broward County and across South Florida, our club represents a region rich in cultures, traditions, and generations of soccer passion. Different backgrounds. Different journeys. One shared identity.
At our core, we believe greatness is not given. It is earned through perseverance, courage, and the willingness to push through life’s currents. We believe the game has the power to break down barriers, strengthen communities, and inspire generations.
Our roots are here. Our future is here. And our greatest moments are still ahead.
This is our community. Our club. Fort Lauderdale United FC.
