
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (April 28, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC’s USL League Two side announced its 2026 schedule Friday afternoon, building on the momentum of a successful inaugural campaign. The club reached the Southern Conference Final in its debut season, finishing as one of the final eight teams in the league. Under the direction of Head Coach Marc Lue Young, Fort Lauderdale United will aim to build on that success and secure a return to the League Two Playoffs in its second season.
The 12-match regular season opens on Saturday, May 16 and concludes Sunday, July 12, before a 35-team, single-elimination tournament determines the 2026 USL League Two champion. Follow @ftlutdacademy and @ftlutdmens on Instagram for updates.

Fort Lauderdale will open the season on the road against fellow Broward County neighbor Weston FC on May 16, a team it went unbeaten against last season. The club then returns home for a four-match homestand across a 10-day span, beginning with its home opener against Brevard SC on May 20 before hosting FC Miami City on May 23, Lakeland United FC on May 27 and Miami AC on May 30.
Following the homestand, Fort Lauderdale begins a three-match road trip, visiting Brevard SC on June 3 and FC Miami City on June 7 before closing out the trip against Miami AC on June 13.
The club will close the regular season with four pivotal matches, alternating between home and away. Fort Lauderdale hosts Weston FC on June 24 before traveling to FC Miami City on July 1. The team returns home for its finale on July 8 and concludes the regular season on the road against Lakeland United FC on July 12.
The regular season will be followed by a 35-team single-elimination tournament. The First Round is scheduled for July 13-14, followed by the Rounds of 32 and 16 from July 17-19. The Conference Finals and National Semifinals will take place July 24-26, with the USL League Two Final set for August 1.
Schedule Notes:
- Fort Lauderdale will face Weston FC and FC Miami City three times each, hosting Weston twice while traveling to Miami City twice.
