This monumental event marks the very first time that teams from the USL Super League and the NWSL—both prestigious first division leagues that represent the highest level of women’s soccer in the USA— will compete against each other, making history right here in South Florida!
Gotham FC features a roster with standout players including 2019 World Cup champions and 2024 Olympic gold medalists Rose Lavelle, Emily Sonnett and Tierna Davidson; World Cup Champion, Esther Gonzalez and Chelsea veteran and European champion, Jess Carter.
Fort Lauderdale United FC currently sits in 4th place in the USL Super League standings. Addie McCain leads the league with 8 goals, Sh’Nia Gordon leads with 24 shots, and Celia Gaynor ranks 5th with 803 passes.
