FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (September 21, 2026) – Fort Lauderdale United FC (1-4-0, 3 PTS) hits the road Tuesday morning to take on DC Power FC (2-2-2, 8 PTS) at Audi Field. Fort Lauderdale is searching for its first road win of the 2026 Gainbridge Super League campaign, while DC Power looks to snap a three-match winless streak at home. With Fort Lauderdale beginning another two-match road trip, Tuesday morning’s matchup presents another pivotal opportunity to earn points in the 2026 campaign.
Fort Lauderdale United enters Tuesday’s matchup after a heartbreaking loss to Dallas Trinity FC at Amerant Bank Field on Friday evening. The club’s attack is coming off its strongest performance of the campaign, led by dynamic forward Sh’nia Gordon. Fort Lauderdale’s all-time leader in appearances, Gordon has scored in back-to-back matches and enters Tuesday’s meeting in the best form of her Fort Lauderdale career. Gordon leads an attack that also features the explosive trio of Grace Cutler, Kiara Locklear and Farrah Walters, while the midfield trio of Nicole Vernis, Kelli Van Treeck and Taylor Smith controls the middle of the park. The defensive quartet of captain Haley Thomas, Kelsey Oyler, Ella Simpson and Maggie Mace has remained strong, with Haley Craig providing consistency in goal. With Fort Lauderdale eyeing its first road win of the season, Tuesday’s matchup will be a key test to open the two-match road trip.
DC Power FC enters Tuesday’s meeting in a bit of a skid, going winless in its last three matches with two draws and a loss. The club is led by two of the league’s top scorers in Loza Abore (4G) and Emma Jaskaniec (2G), while Samantha Cary leads the league in chances created (14). On the defensive end, Sydney Cummings and Claire Constant are one of just three duos to rank inside the league’s top 10 in clearances, while goalkeeper Katie Cappelletti ranks second in saves with 19. With DC Power looking to earn points at home, Tuesday morning presents an opportunity for both teams to make a statement moving forward.
