FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (August 25, 2026) — Fort Lauderdale United FC and Gainbridge℠ are continuing their commitment to making an impact beyond the pitch with a $9,900 donation to the Weston YMCA Family Center, supporting programs and financial assistance for children and families throughout South Florida. The donation is being made alongside legendary U.S. goalkeeper Briana Scurry through the Gainbridge Savings Tracker, an initiative that generated $99,000 in charitable contributions during its first year across communities connected to the Gainbridge Super League.
The contribution will help the Weston YMCA Family Center provide financial assistance to families who otherwise may not be able to afford programs including youth sports, after-school care and other opportunities that help children learn, grow, build confidence and develop a sense of belonging.

The Weston YMCA Family Center is one of seven YMCA locations that make up the YMCA of South Florida. Three out of every 10 children participating at the YMCA receive financial assistance, helping ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent young people from participating in programs that promote development, connection and healthy living. The YMCA of South Florida also serves communities through food assistance, senior programs, support for individuals with special needs, veteran initiatives and other services designed to strengthen families and neighborhoods across the region.
