Fort Lauderdale United FC fields two professional soccer teams: a women’s team in the Division One Gainbridge Super League, a USL property, and a men’s USL League One team (arriving in 2026). The club also operates men’s and women’s pre-professional teams in USL League Two and the USL W League, respectively. Additionally, it oversees a Youth Academy that, together with its girls’ volleyball programs, serves more than 1,300 young athletes – providing a direct pathway to the professional level on both the men’s and women’s soccer sides while deepening its community impact.

The Gainbridge Super League is a Division One professional women’s soccer league, operated by the United Soccer League, the largest and fastest-growing pre-professional and professional soccer organization in the United States.
Built for the future of women’s soccer, the Gainbridge Super League has committed to U.S. Soccer’s Division One standards, reflecting its collective vision to be a global leader on and off the field while providing more opportunities for more women in more communities.
Uniquely for American soccer, the Gainbridge Super League will play on the “fall-to-summer” soccer calendar traditionally followed around the world, ensuring players are able to represent both club and country and allowing clubs to actively participate in the emerging global women’s transfer market.
The Gainbridge Super League will sit at the top of the USL’s distinct youth-to-pro women’s pathway. The complete pathway includes the USL W League, the leading pre-professional women’s soccer league in the United States; the USL Academy, an advanced talent-development platform connected to professional and pre-professional USL clubs; and USL Youth, a premier national youth competition.

Fort Lauderdale United FC stands for progress, inclusivity, and unity, with an identity that’s clean, simple, yet instantly recognizable. Inspired by our city’s initials, ‘FTL,’ our logo mimics the interlocking canals under the bright sun, a nod to our vibrant waters. Our colors—sea foam green and ocean blue—mirror the beauty of our famous beaches and shallows. This emblem celebrates every member of our diverse community, embodying our spirit without bounds.
