
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (June 30, 2026) – Following its recent victory over Port St. Lucie SC, Fort Lauderdale United FC’s USL Academy team has moved past the midway point of the 2026 campaign. With four matches remaining in the regular season, Fort Lauderdale will look to build on its strong start and secure another berth in the USL Academy League Playoffs.
Led by Head Coach Juan Solorzano, Fort Lauderdale has opened the 2026 campaign unbeaten through its first six matches, posting a 5-0-1 record. Joseph Ben-Ezra (5G), Rafael De Almeida (3G) and Ethan Rodriguez (3G) have spearheaded an attack that has produced 20 goals, while the defense has allowed just four across 450 minutes of action.
Fort Lauderdale sits atop the South Florida Division standings and ranks second across the entire USL Academy League. With four matches remaining in the 2026 campaign, Fort Lauderdale will look to carry its momentum into the final stretch of the regular season as it pursues a league title in the club’s third season.
