2025/26 Season:
Locklear returned to South Florida for year two and continued the strong form she displayed during her rookie campaign. The 23-year-old forward appeared in all 28 matches, making 27 starts while leading the team with six goals and four assists. The Lipscomb product also paced the squad in chances created (24) and shots on target (21), earning Team of the Month honors in both September and April. During the campaign, Locklear became the club’s all-time assists leader (8) and tied the club’s all-time scoring record with 13 goals, further cementing her place in Fort Lauderdale United history.

2024/25 Season:
Locklear joined Fort Lauderdale United following the conclusion of her collegiate career at Lipscomb, and the rookie made an immediate impact. In her first start on December 14, 2024, she scored a brace against her hometown side, Carolina Ascent FC, in a dominant win. Despite arriving just before the winter break, the rookie finished third on the team in goals (7) and tied for the team lead in assists (4), accomplishing both feats in just half as many games as her peers. Locklear started 16 of her 18 appearances during the inaugural campaign and delivered in the biggest moments, scoring both goals in the Semifinal win over Carolina to send Fort Lauderdale to the Final. The 22-year-old forward earned her first career Team of the Month nod during the final month of the regular season.

Previous Experience:
She began her collegiate career at Charlotte, where she earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors in 2021. After transferring to Lipscomb, Locklear’s impact was immediate and profound. In her junior year (2023), she was named to the Third Team All-ASUN, starting all 20 matches and contributing five goals and four assists.
Elevating her performance in her senior season, Locklear was honored as the ASUN Player of the Year, leading the conference with 19 goals and 4 assists—the highest single-season point total in program history. Her exceptional play earned her a place on the United Soccer Coaches Division I Women’s Soccer All-America Fourth Team, marking the first All-American accolade in the program’s history.
Locklear’s leadership and skill were instrumental in guiding the Bisons to their fourth conference title, solidifying her legacy as one of the most accomplished players in Lipscomb women’s soccer history.
