Fort Lauderdale United FC joined the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network on Saturday, April 27 in the yearly PurpleStride walk to fight pancreatic cancer.
PurpleStride is a day uniting pancreatic cancer survivors, loved ones, researchers and supporters who are taking steps in nearly 60 events across the nation to honor those impacted by pancreatic cancer.
As the only division one women’s professional soccer team in South Florida, Fort Lauderdale United FC’s mission is to work towards uniting the community by providing opportunities for female athletes and bringing women’s soccer to the highest level.
Fort Lauderdale United FC is a proud supporter of pancreatic cancer awareness and is dedicated to work with PanCAN to help grow this community. This team strives to score on and off the field by supporting different causes that will bring the community together.
