We are proud to announce that we are hosting free soccer clinics for our community’s youth. This series of complimentary soccer clinics are designed to engage and inspire the next generation of professional players and offer a preview of our inaugural youth programs that are coming to the 954 this fall.
Last weekend, we hosted our first clinic, and we want to thank the talented young athletes of the 954 who joined us to play and celebrate this sport we love. It was a proud and inspiring sight to see the next generation of professional athletes developing their skills with our historic team.
If you missed out on the first one, don’t worry! We are hosting two more clinics on Saturday, August 3, and Saturday, August 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Mark your calendars to be a part of the action!
Our coed clinics are designed to provide an inclusive environment for kids of all skill levels. They are divided into two age brackets: one for children ages 2 to 6 and another for children ages 7 to 10. These clinics are crafted to offer an early introduction to soccer and build on fundamentals, providing a preview of the key skills and abilities that our youth programs will establish.
Under the guidance of our experienced coaching professionals, your soccer star will have the chance to develop their abilities and grow their love for the game. These players will receive diverse training to expand their soccer skills and knowledge. By enhancing and developing the foundations of soccer, game intelligence and interpersonal communication, players will be prepared to tackle the next stages of their soccer careers.
To ensure a smooth check-in process, we kindly request all families to arrive at the clinic venue by 9:15 a.m. Please note that check-in will begin promptly at this time, so we encourage you to plan accordingly.
For the soccer sessions, we recommend that players bring the following items:
– Soccer cleats or athletic shoes (closed toe)
– Comfortable athletic clothing
– Shin guards (mandatory for safety)
– Water bottle to stay hydrated
– Sunscreen (for outdoor sessions)
– Any necessary medications or medical equipment (if applicable)
– Soccer ball (if preferred)
Parents of children aged 2 to 4 years old may assist their children on the field alongside our dedicated coaches. We encourage parents to be present during designated times to help with the first few sessions. For parents with older children who do not require assistance, seating will be available in the bleachers/stands.
