Fort Lauderdale United FC received the honor of participating in the Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival on Saturday, June 15.
This event celebrates the historic Stonewall Riots and the birth of the LGBTQ+ human rights movement and the impact it has had on our community’s past, present and future.

The streets were alive with pride and diversity, with each person decorated in beaming colors and unique styles, expressing their true selves and showcasing their individuality. Music filled the air, combining with the sounds of laughter, love and passion to create a beautiful harmony.
At the event, Fort Lauderdale United FC hosted a table, spreading awareness about being South Florida’s first women’s professional soccer team and offering its exclusive Pride merchandise collection. Witnessing the unwavering support and excitement for this development in women’s sports, further affirmed the progressive and accepting nature of the Fort Lauderdale community.
